Paramount Motors Announces Expansion of Wuling EV Lineup in Nepal with Four New Models Debuting at NAIMA 2026

Paramount Motors, the official distributor of Wuling Motors in Nepal, is gearing up to significantly strengthen its presence in the domestic electric vehicle (EV) market. Building on its 2023 entry, the company is preparing to introduce an aggressive new product lineup backed by the global expertise of SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW). The official public unveiling will take place during the highly anticipated NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026.

The upcoming expansion follows the success of SGMW, a world-leading joint venture between SAIC Motor, General Motors, and Guangxi Automobile Group. With over 30 million vehicles produced globally, Wuling has become synonymous with practical, high-quality, and affordable electric mobility.

By diversifying its offerings, Wuling now provides a wide-range mobility segment designed to cover multiple body styles, passenger capacities, and price points. Whether it is mini-EVs for tight city streets or spacious vehicles for large families, the brand's adaptable global platforms ensure there is a tailored sustainable solution for every type of commuter.

The Upcoming Lineup: A Model for Every Need

Paramount Motors is set to broaden its horizons by introducing vehicles that range from compact city cars to full-sized family SUVs. The anticipated models include:

  • Wuling Eksion EV (7-Seater SUV): Positioned as a flagship family vehicle, the Eksion features a 69.2 kWh "Magic Battery Pro" offering a range of up to 530 km. It is designed for those seeking space, muscular styling, and advanced safety features like ADAS and a 360-degree camera. One of the vehicle's key highlights is its flexible seating arrangement; it can be configured as either a five-seater or a seven-seater thanks to a third-row setup that folds flat. With the rear seats folded, the SUV offers 540 liters of luggage capacity, which expands to a massive 2,916 liters when both the second and third rows are folded.
  • Wuling Mini EV (4-Door Compact): An evolution of the world's best-selling micro-EV, this new 4-door variant prioritizes rear accessibility. Built on the high-strength "Global Small Electric Vehicle - GSEV" architecture, it is expected to offer a range of up to 301 km, making it the ideal solution for urban commuting. Paramount Motors says the new Mini EV will offer more features at a lower price than other mini EVs currently available in Nepal.
